Grizzlies check in at #3 on CJHL Top 15

The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced today its Top 15 rankings to kick off the 2008-09 hockey season.

The CJAHL Top 15 as of Tuesday, October 7th:

1. Humboldt Broncos (SJHL)
2. Pembroke Lumber Kings (CJHL)
3. Victoria Grizzlies (BCHL)
4. Okotoks Oilers (AJHL)
5. Waywayseecappo Wolverines (MJHL)
6. Lindsay Muskies (OJHL)
7. Fort William North Stars (SIJHL)
8. North Bay Skyhawks (NOJHL)
9. Amherst Ramblers (MJAHL)
10. Les Cougars du College Champlain - Sherbrooke (LHJAAAQ)
11. Penticton Vees (BCHL)
12. Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL)
13. Kindersley Klippers (SJHL)
14. Portage Terriers (MJHL)
15. Orangeville Crushers (OJHL)

Honorable mention goes to the Nanaimo Clppers (BCHL), Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL), Yorkton Terriers (SJHL), Soo Thunderbirds (NOJHL), Georgetown Raiders (OJHL), Nepean Raiders (CJHL), Les Cobras de Terrabonne (LHJAAAQ), and the Truro Bearcats (MJAHL).

The rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, their winning percentage, their win-loss record, total points accumulated, their goals-for versus goals-against ratio, amongst other factors.
