Three BCHL teams place in CJHL's Top 15

The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced today its Top 15 rankings for the week of October 12th to October 18th. Last week’s rankings and the leagues in which the teams belong to are in parenthesis.

The CJAHL Top 15 as of Saturday, October 18th:

1. (1) Humboldt Broncos (SJHL)
2. (3) Victoria Grizzlies (BCHL)
3. (5) Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL)
4. (4) Lindsay Muskies (OJHL)
5. (2) Pembroke Lumber Kings (CJHL)
6. (7) Fort William North Stars (SIJHL)
7. (6) North Bay Skyhawks (NOJHL)
8. (8) Portage Terriers (MJHL)
9. (10) Les Cougars du College Champlain - Sherbrooke (LHJAAAQ)
10. (13) Georgetown Raiders (OJHL)
11. (15) Trail Smoke Eaters (BCHL)
12. (NR) Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL)
13. (NR) Truro Bearcats (MJAHL)
14. (NR) Melville Millionaires (SJHL)

Honorable mention goes to the Langley Chiefs (BCHL), Vernon Vipers (BCHL), Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL), Calgary Canucks (AJHL), Waywayseecappo Wolverines (MJHL), Thunder Bay Bearcats (SIJHL), Aurora Tigers (OJHL), and the Summerside Western Capitlas (MJAHL).

The rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, their winning percentage, their win-loss record, total points accumulated, their goals-for versus goals-against ratio, amongst other factors.
