Vipers continue to climb in CJHL's Top 15

The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced today its Top 15 rankings for the week of January 26th to February 1st. Last week’s rankings and the leagues in which the teams belong to are in parenthesis.

The CJHL Top 15 as of Monday, February 2nd:

1. (1) Humboldt Broncos (SJHL)
2. (2) Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL)
3. (7) Winnipeg Saints (MJHL)
4. (5) Vernon Vipers (BCHL)
5. (6) Couchiching Terriers (OJHL)
6. (4) Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL)
7. (3) Georgetown Raiders (OJHL)
8. (10) Portage Terriers (MJHL)
9. (8) Pembroke Lumber Kings (CJHL)
10. (9) Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL)
11. (NR) Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL)
12. (13) Summerside Western Capitals (MJAHL)
13. (11) Les Cougars du College Champlain – Sherbrooke (LHJAAAQ)

Honorable mention goes to the Powell River Kings (BCHL), Victoria Grizzlies (BCHL), Okotoks Oilers (AJHL), Brooks Bandits (AJHL), Selkirk Steelers (MJHL), Oakville Blades (OJHL), Soo Thunderbirds (NOJHL), and the Thunder Bay Bearcats (SIJHL).

The rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, their winning percentage, their win-loss record, total points accumulated, their goals-for versus goals-against ratio, amongst other factors.
